The Korean Academy of Occupational Science (KAOS) is an academic organization dedicated to strengthening knowledge about human occupation through research, education, and exchange. Its stated purpose is to develop interdisciplinary knowledge and evidence related to occupation and use that knowledge to contribute to health, wellbeing, and participation for individuals and society.

KAOS also supports academic development through its organizational activities, committees, education initiatives, and the Korean Journal of Health and Occupational Science. Through these activities, it contributes to the development of occupational science in Korea and its connection to the wider international field.
